Description
This exciting new compact selection from the UK forms a tight compact mound of lush plum to dark purple almost black foliage. The tightest Euphorbia characias we have seen to date in NZ. In late winter to early spring, the plants are topped with terminal flower spikes of plum to dark purple blooms. An excellent low maintenance selection for the front of the border, also perfectly at home in pots & containers on the deck & patio. Best grown in well-drained soils in full sun. Cut back spent flower stems to encourage new shoots. Hardy. 0.45 x 0.25m.
